The Magee Lions Club gathered at Berry’s Seafood for its annual Ladies Night Banquet and Installation of Officers, celebrating another year of service while recognizing both outgoing and incoming leadership.
Installed to serve for the upcoming year were Wayne Hilton, President; Bill Bennett, First Vice President; Chris Williams, Second Vice President; James Smith, Secretary; and John Mark Williams, Treasurer.
Members elected to the Board of Directors include Ricky Anderson, Scott Barnes, B.J. Smith, Mike Williamson, C.A. Smith, and Riley Runnels.
Additional leadership positions include Chip Hagler, Lion Tamer; Dr. Rudy Runnels, Tail Twister; Tommy Meador, Sight Chairman; Oliver McLean, Membership Chairman; Gerald Regel, Corresponding Chairman; and Dr. Tom Duncan, Publicity Chairman.
During the evening, newly installed President Wayne Hilton presented outgoing President Josh Allen with a plaque in appreciation of his dedicated leadership and faithful service to the Magee Lions Club during the past year.
The Magee Lions Club is a proud member of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization. Locally, the club is committed to improving the quality of life in the community by supporting vision and hearing programs, assisting those in need, awarding scholarships, and participating in numerous community service projects throughout the year.
The annual banquet not only marked the beginning of a new leadership year but also celebrated the spirit of volunteerism and community service that have long been hallmarks of the Magee Lions Club.
