Zacchaeus’ Tree Adoption Ministry will offer adoption and foster care classes at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS starting on Wednesday, August 16th.

Chris Gray who is the founder of Zacchaeus’ Tree states that this is the fifth year that the classes have been offered at Crossgates Baptist Church. “I’m really excited about our upcoming classes and speakers this year. We have nine new keynote speakers and I know their testimonies and insights will help encourage families in their journey to adopt and foster,” states Gray.

The class meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month in room 207 from 6:00-7:00pm. The classes are free to attend and RSVP is not required. The adoption and foster care classes are also approved for foster families to receive a one-hour training credit through the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services, and the church provides childcare for free to families that attend.

Gray states, “These classes offer a holistic view of the adoption and foster care process and no matter where your family is in your journey, you’ll be able to learn and connect with others who are going through the same process. We’ve had families drive from Rankin, Hinds, Madison, Copiah, Scott, Leake, Smith, Lincoln, and Simpson Counties to attend classes and grow together.”

Crossgates Baptist Church is located at 8 Crosswoods Rd, Brandon MS 39042. If one has any questions, Zacchaeus’ Tree Adoption Ministry can be contacted on Facebook or at zacchaeustree@yahoo.com.
