These weeks of storms have almost tripled the amount of pick up in our city.

Magee only has one grapple truck (limb truck).  (Hopefully, another grapple truck can be arranged in the upcoming budget.)

Debris and other stuff cannot be picked up if over 300 lbs and 10 feet long.

Do not place items under power lines

Also, items need to be piled in groups.  (Limbs in one pile, plastic etc in another, and household items in another.)

If the grapple (limb) truck passes you by, check and see if your items are over 300 lbs or too long.

Our limb truck has been running 7 days a week during the storm period just trying to keep up with the debris.

Help your neighbor—Help your town

When you are mowing, see if another area close to you is in need of trimming.  Adopt an area!  We need help around stop signs, roadways, ditches, etc.

Let’s take pride in our city by helping one another.
