Like a good little girl, I have watched every night for my “Supermoon.”  The last supermoon appeared before I was born and the next one will probably appear after I’m dead!

I’m just saying, “my” moon has looked about the same…but I am crossing my fingers for tonight!

Don’t forget to watch the moon!

What’s This???

What’s This???

Here’s a little info on the Supermoon.

A Supermoon happens when a Full Moon or New Moon coincides with the Moon’s closest approach to Earth; also called perigee. A Super Full Moon looks around 12% to 14% bigger than its counterpart, the Micromoon.

A Supermoon can be a Full or New Moon.

The Supermoon on November 14, 2016, will be the closest a Full Moon has been to Earth since January 26, 1948. The next time a Full Moon is even closer to Earth will be on November 25, 2034

*** I went outside Monday night…..and there she was…the golden Supermoon!  As the night has progressed and gotten higher in the sky, the moon has turned white…but I “hear’ the time to look is 5 AM Tuesday!  Just send me a picture!
