On Wednesday, Aldermen Lawana Thompson, Alyson Berch, Suzie Bourne, Mayor Mark Grubbs, and I attended a continuing education class at the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District (CMPDD).

As we arrived, something unusual caught my eye—a coyote on the grounds! But not a real one. Mayor Mark quickly cleared it up: it was a fake coyote, strategically placed to keep geese away from the area.

If you’ve ever had to deal with geese and the mess they leave behind, you’ll understand the logic. And hey—this might be the solution to your goose problem, too!
