We are Magee!  Continued…

What a ride!  From the Palace to the Big House, Magee baseball gave us a thrilling season.  It is one for the record books, and we are thankful to be a part of the history.

Life is full of ups and downs, but it is what we remember that makes us smile.  It is the memories of this season that will be talked about for years to come.  It is the players, the plays, and their determination that will be remembered.  It is the games in the sleet and snow.  It is the constant rain.  And, it is the 14 inning game.  It is the double plays, the homeruns, and our boys’ skill and determination that will be remembered.  And, to that, we, your fans, want to thank you.

To our seniors, your leadership demonstrated dignity and respect for the game and provided guidance for your teammates.

To Coach Eubanks, thank you for your vision. Thank you for seeing the talent long ago and knowing where they would end up. Thank you for believing in them and for coaching them to be even greater athletes than they were.  Thank you for Inspiring them to dream big and for encouraging them to swing for the fences.

To Coach Ward, Coach Hancock, and Brian Mills, thank you for your words of wisdom. Thank you for not only coaching our boys but for encouraging them to believe in themselves.

To our players, your continued ability to dig deeper amazes us. Your skills were a delight to watch and your sportsmanship even more. You make us proud and remind us what and who Magee is.  Hold your heads high. You are South State Champs. Do not forget the triumph of that. Remember your victories and rally in those. Remember we love you.

To those unable to attend, our boys fought and played with all their might. They never gave up. They stayed strong for their coaches, their families, and their fans.

To the West Jones students, thank you for joining our cheering section. Your rallied support is another cool memory we will take with us. We wish you and your boys luck!

2019 Magee baseball boys, you represented. We could not be prouder of your guts and of your accomplishments. 1…2…3…South State Champs!  We love you Red!

So, from all of your fans, thanks for the memories.  We are eagerly awaiting next season!
