Nadine Letitia McWilliams Cooper, 86 years old, of Spring, Texas passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, 11:00 a.m. She was born on November 26, 1932 in Copiah County. A private graveside service was held for the immediate family May 18, 2019.
She was an active member of River Oaks Baptist Church in Houston, Texas and formally a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Magee, Mississippi.
Mrs. Cooper’s career path ultimately led her to work for the Department of Defense working in many cities such as Pearl City, Hawaii; Washington, D.C.; Ogdon, Utah; and Battle Creek, Michigan. After Nadine retired, she loved to volunteer at Magee General Hospital. She was so happy meeting patients as she walked around the hospital handing out books and magazines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earl W. Cooper; her parents, Ernest McWilliams and Lena Adcox McWilliams; and her 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include her only daughter Deborah Stahl and husband, Greg, her grandchildren Anna Stahl, Kalli Lovejoy and husband, Scott and Kyle Stahl and wife, Meredith and 1 great-granddaughter and 3 great-grandsons.
