Chief of Police Chris Jones brought two names before the Aldermen at the Tuesday, August 3, 2021 meeting as officers for the Magee Police Department.
Tony Puckett who presently works with the Covington County Sheriff’s Department has applied for part time with the Magee PD. Tony served on the Magee Police force in the past. Puckett was approved by the Board of Alderman.
Kashondra Jaynes, who is full time certified, with the Hazlehurst Police Department is seeking part time employment with the Magee Police Department. Jaynes was approved by the Board of Aldermen.
Donnie Smith’s resignation from the Magee PD was accepted as a full time police officer with the City of Magee and moved to part time.
Skyla Morrow was hired part time dispatcher. Skyla is from Seminary.
