By Denis Borges, Magee Police Chief
“I’m pleased to introduce Magee Police Department’s chaplain, Pastor Jack Robertson. Pastor Robertson has been a valued resident of Magee for the past five years. Since 2016, he has operated Renew Radio, bringing uplifting programming to our community. Additionally, he is the President of the Simpson County Christian Coalition, he also serves as the assistant pastor at Church Alive, located at 276 Simpson Highway 28 in Magee.
Pastor Robertson has been married for 28 years to his wife, Teresa Robertson, who is not only his life partner but also his co-host on the Jack and Teresa Morning Show on FM 96.9. Their dedication to the community and shared commitment to service make them a tremendous asset to Magee.
A police department chaplain provides spiritual and emotional support to officers, staff, and their families, especially during times of crisis or stress. Chaplains are also available to assist the public during emergencies, offering comfort and guidance to those affected by tragedy. Their role is invaluable in fostering resilience, improving morale, and helping officers navigate the challenges of law enforcement.
Having Pastor Robertson as our chaplain ensures our officers have a trusted resource for personal and professional support ( if they want it), making the Magee Police Department stronger and more connected to the community we serve.”
