Jonathan Blankenship, 31, and Christopher High, 28, escaped from the Central Mississippi Correction Facility in Pearl around 7 AM Friday. The armed and dangerous men were discovered missing during the morning inmate count.
Blankenship is serving a five year sentence for aggravated assault on a police officer and conspiracy to commit a crime. Blankenship is 5-feet 10 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.
Hugh is serving 12 years after being convicted of burglary and larceny. He is 5 feet 7 and with 145 pounds. Hugh is heavy tattooed on his chest and arms.
