The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Proverbs 2:7-8: “He holds victory in store for the upright; He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones.” Solomon in all his wisdom walked closely with the Lord and placed his complete trust and faith in God’s protection; therefore, Solomon knew firsthand that God in His steadfastness would keep His promises. Let us do likewise and joyfully proclaim with the old hymn, “Under His wings, I am safely abiding.” Amen!
