Becky Freeman completed the jail administrator class improving her skills as a jail administrator.
Becky has shown true leadership and commitment in obtaining the goal.
“Congratulations to Jail Class 2024-1! A special recognition goes to our Jail and Dispatch Administrator, Becky Freeman, for completing the program. Her dedication to improving her skills as a jail administrator shows true leadership and commitment.
This training provides updates on new laws and equips both experienced and new staff with the knowledge needed to serve effectively as jailers. It covers critical areas such as inmate rights, proper handling of medical needs, crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response. It also focuses on preventing lawsuits and ensuring inmates are cared for and treated properly.
We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Freeman’s initiative to seek additional training, not only for herself but also to benefit her jailers and dispatchers. Her commitment to growth and excellence makes her an invaluable asset to the City of Magee.
A big thank you to Sheriff Paul Mullins and Trainer Clay McPherson for organizing this important training. Having it available locally is a great benefit for everyone involved.”
