Kathleen Knight Patrick, 95, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Arrington Living Center in Collins, where she had been a resident for seven years. She was born on July 20, 1923, to S. J. and Essie Marie Miley Knight in Simpson County.

She grew up in Mendenhall and graduated from Mendenhall High School at the top of her class. She retired from Peoples Bank and enjoyed her retired years quilting and visiting with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her four children, Jaris Hoy Patrick (Abbie), Gloria Patrick Lucas, Charles Adam Patrick (Melinda) and Deborah Patrick McCollum (James); grandchildren, Jennifer Patrick Green (Dom), Natalie Patrick Carter (Bart), Jessica Jean Patrick Barling (Neil), Nicholas Patrick, Douglas Lucas, Kara Lucas (Eric), Adam Patrick, Paige Patrick, Brandon McCollum (Katie) and Nathan McCollum; eleven great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy D. Patrick; sister, Adeline Knight May; brothers, Kenneth Knight, Cletus Knight, Johnny Knight and Maurice Knight.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m at First Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Interment will be at Mendenhall City Cemetery in Mendenhall.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
