Magee Trojan Baseball team improves to 4-0 after a win against Pearl by a score of 3-0.
Adam May pitched 6 shutout innings with 10 strikeouts. Brennon McNair came in in the 7th inning to pick up the save. Brennon McNair had a hit in the 2nd inning and after an error by Pearl, was driven in by Kaden Harper on a Sacrifice Fly to right field.
Magee scored 2 runs in the 4th inning when Doc McLaurin hit a solo homerun followed by a Brennon McNair double. Brennon would steal third and score on a throwing error by Pearl.
Adam pitched extremely well tonight.
Coach Eubanks stated “we had better at bats and played well defensively. Still have room for improvement, but we are starting to get it all together. Proud to see the way our guys are playing and having fun.”
Next game is scheduled for Monday at Florence.
