Trojan football wrapped up a very productive spring with a strong performance against Wingfield Friday night. The JV showed flashes of why so many are excited about this young group. The varsity won 26-8 scoring on their first two drives with a balanced attack. The defense held the Falcons out of the end zone until  the end of the game.

Behind the passing of Tyree McAfee and running of Jadarius Payne, Magee looks to have a promising season this fall.

McAfee looked to be in mid-season form throwing to open receivers with the accuracy and velocity he is known for. Payne ran through open holes courtesy of the offensive line that shows a lot of promise. Payne is a punishing runner who always seems to fall forward. The Trojans definitely had a few bright spots in spring contest.

The Trojans are led by Head Coach Tim Coats and Assistants Matt Maddox and Glenn Smith. Do not wait until fall to help this team. These young men need your encouragement. Ask how you can be part of making a difference. Go Trojans.
