Magee High School Football under the direction of Head Football Coach Teddy Dyess, continued to show what they are made of Friday, September 20, 2019 as they defeated Kemper County by a score of 51-12.

Magee made the long road trip to take on the Wildcats. Magee wasted no time showing they came to take care of business. Magee scored 21 points in the first quarter.

Magee scored on a 64-yard reception from Chandler Pittman to Xavier Franks. The two point conversion was no good. Magee crossed the goal line again on a 16-yard run by Jawon Shaw. The two point conversion by Shaw was good. Magee found the end zone one more time before time expired in the first quarter on a 8-yard reception from Pittman to Franks. Samuel Rials  point after attempt was good. Trojans led by 21-0. Kemper County capitalized on an error by Magee. Windham score for Kemper County on a 13-yard fumble recovery. The two-point conversion was no good. Magee led by a score of 21-6 to end the first quarter.

Magee found the end zone one time during the second quarter on a 11-yard reception from Pittman to Cayden Bridges. The point after attempt by Rails was good. Trojans increased the lead by a score of 28-6 to end the first half of play.

Both teams would find the end zone during the third quarter. Magee scored first on a 5-yard reception from Pittman to Sanders. The Point after attempt by Rials was good. Kemper County answered on a 24-yard reception. The Point two point conversion was no good. Trojans led by a score of 35-12.

Fourth quarter the Trojans were not finished. Pittman kept the ball on a 36-yard touchdown run. The two point conversion by Shaw was good. Magee increased the lead by a score of 43-12.  Magee crossed the goal line for the last time on the night to seal the win. Janorris Newsome scored on the 27-yard interception return. The two point conversion by Shaw was good. Trojans win the game by a score of 51-12.

With the win the Trojans remain undefeated on the season with a 5-0 record.

Magee travels again Friday, September 27, 2019 to take on the Port Gipson Blue Waves. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
