Magee loses game one of the day, Tuesday, March 12, 2109, at NE Jones against Perry Central 6-2 and only had 3 hits. Magee had opportunities to have big innings but due to lack of focus mistakes were made that killed any shift of momentum. After a reality check and lineup change, Magee woke the bats up in game 2 against NE Jones. Magee would score 7 runs off 7 hits in the top of the 1st inning. Magee kept swinging and scored 2 in the 2nd inning and 1 in the 4th to win by 10-0 mercy rule in the 5th. Magee would have 13 hits in the game and Timon Kennedy would get his first win of season pitching 5 complete shutout innings only allowing 2 hits.
Hopefully Magee can become consistent in gameplay and continue to get offense rolling Thursday as they travel to Lawrence Co. To play McComb and Hattiesburg.
