The Scriptural passage for today is found in Psalm 19:8: “The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.” Amen! The laws of the Lord impact all the senses if properly observed and revered by the Christian. With the psalmist, possibly David, we, too, can bask in the joy our hearts receive when abiding in God’s will. Our very eyes will radiate light if we keep His commands. The Word of God is, after all, food for the soul. Let us, therefore, feast on God’s Word and take our fill at His table.
