Mendenhall Comes Up Short

In a hard fought heart-breaker of a game, the Mendenhall Tigers came up short against Poplarville 26-27.

The defeat ends the Tigers quest for a championship.

Simpson Academy Football season comes to an end

Simpson  fell 45-36 to the Leake Academy Rebels on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 27-0 loss they experienced in the pair’s previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.

Simpson Academy dropped their record down to 6-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Football is now over for the Cougars but basketball has begun and baseball will soon be on the roster.
