Today, April 22, 2021 is Earth Day. Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement.
I thought it was neat our city was working hard to clean areas just before Earth Day. Earth Day should be everyday.
Lets make a pack —-everyday pick up one piece of trash! Just think of the difference we could make if everyone just picked up one thing!
I met a lady named Linda picking up trash on 11th Avenue because she had seen the pictures from Keep Magee Beautiful. Not only did she begin picking up on the side of the road, she now has taken on the area around her home. Linda is observing Earth Day everyday.
