The third annual Angel Wings Outreach Center features a program on teen dating violence. The event will take place Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Magee National Guard Armory. Registration stars at 9:00 AM. The first 40 to register will receive a Teen Swag Bag. Lunch will be provided . The summit ends at 2:00 PM.
Wendy Seals visited MageeNews.com Monday, February 13, 2023 inviting all Simpson County teens to attend the one day conference.
February is national Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Wendy explained that 1 in 3 young people will be in an abusive or unhealthy relationship.
“We have door prizes, visiting speakers, suggestions on how to break the chain of violence,” explained Wendy. Encourage your teens to attend this event!
“We’re seeking volunteers for this event. If your teen needs community service hours for school or an organization, they should sign-up as a volunteer and Angel Wings will provide them with the proper paperwork for community service hours after the event is over,” stated Wendy.
