Tazah Amethyst Hosey, 30 of Magee, MS passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023. She was born Tuesday, May 4, 1993 in Flowood, Mississippi.
Tazah was a woman of many talents, she was a magnet that drew people to her. Her greatest gift was love. She loved her daughter more than she loved herself, she showed a selflessness that not many mothers are ever willing or given the ability to show. She had the ability to laugh with others as well as at herself. She enjoyed life. Most never saw her struggles because she would smile no matter the situation or circumstance. She always had the ability to make the best out of every situations. The families hope is that when you remember Tazah, you smile.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elden (Biggie) Puckett and Nell Welch Puckett; and paternal grandfather, Manual Lee Hosey.
Survivors include her daughter, Valkyrie Kizmet Hosey; father, Byron Lee Hosey (Pam); mother, Rhonda Puckett; half-brothers, Koda Williamson and Sloane Burleson; a special aunt, Linda Welch; and a very special person in her life, Matt Green, their time was cut short, but the grace this young man showed Tazah was AMAZING!
We will celebrate Tazah’s life on January 19, 2024 with a visitation from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a service starting at 7:00pm. All services will be at Overflow Church, 222 Railroad Dr. SE Magee, MS 39111. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Overflow Church to help with their many ministries.
