Andrew Frank Barrett, 61, of Mendenhall, MS, passed away on July 13, 2026, at his home.
Andy was born on May 15, 1965 to Frank and Martha Barrett. He graduated from Simpson County Academy and attended the University of Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelors degree in criminal justice. Andy was a graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy, and he worked in law enforcement for many years.
He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, where he found peace and contentment. He was also a lifelong Ole Miss football fan who faithfully cheered on the Rebels every season. More than anything, he valued time spent with his children. Whether in a deer stand, on the water, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those moments brought him the greatest joy.

Andy is survived by his daughters, Brooke (Austin) Stanley and Lauren Barrett; grandson, Rowan Stanley; brother, John (Pamela) Barrett, sister Amy (Michael) Lee; aunt, Kathy Sykes; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
