The Magee Library brought Summer Library Programs 2019 to a close with a visit from Inky the Clown on July 9th. The theme for this year was a Universe of Stories. Magee had Lift Off with the birds and animals form Freedom Ranch. Our trip through the Universe included stops on planets that featured snakes, stories, and inflatables! Young and old enjoyed familiar favorites Terry Vandeventer, aka the Snakeman, Dianne Butler, and the puppets of CMRLS. Throughout the summer we had drawings and scavenger hunts with prizes. It was a Summer filled with fantastic journeys and adventures!

The Magee Library would like to thank the many sponsors that it possible to bring so many programs to the people of our community. They are: Priority One Bank, People’s Bank, Trustmark Bank, Tyson, Tillman’s Furniture, Angela’s, Fast Pace Urgent Care, MS Children’s Museum, MS Sports Hall of Fame, McDonald’s, Magee Courier, and MageeNews.com.
