Stephanie Carol Melton, 33, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in the comforts of her home. She was born on July 26, 1991, in Flowood, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Magee, Mississippi. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Magee, Mississippi. Father Tony Chakkalakkal will officiate.
Miss Melton was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was a loving daughter, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed reading, watching her favorite movies, and spending time with her loving family, especially her kid cousins and her dog, DQ. She also enjoyed calling and talking to her friends and family members. She was especially known to call and check-in, and she made sure to capture all the special moments involving her kid cousins. Stephanie never met a stranger and possessed a wonderfully goofy and feisty sense of humor. She had a heart of gold for sure. Her loving family and friends will greatly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Melton; her nana, Lydia McDonald; TaTa, John McDonald; and grandparents Paul and Betty Melton.
Survivors include her loving mother, Bernice Melton; her devoted uncle, Kenneth McDonald of Mendenhall; five kid cousins, Kyndell, Wesley, Bradley, Cristian, and Ollie; Marissa Welch and husband, Scott, of Braxton and Jonathan McDonald and wife, Lilliana, of Alaska; cousins Corey and Tj Melton; and a host of other family members and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
