Shad White, the Auditor of the State of Mississippi, spoke to the Simpson County Republican Women meeting on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the E-911 Building in Mendenhall.
White described his department as a “well run agency looking out for YOUR money.” Under White’s leadership, an audit was held for the State Audit Department. “If we require other government agencies to participate in an audit, we should too,” explained White.
Shad White is the 42nd auditor in the state of Mississippi.
Cemper Scott, Simpson County Republican Women President, called the meeting to order. Evelyn Copeland gave the invocation. Betty Phillips led the Pledge of Allegiance and Dale Simon read the minutes. Faith Kennedy presented the Treasurers Report.
