Stanley Varner was born on July 9, 1952, and passed away on September 13, 2024. He was raised in Magee, MS, and graduated from Magee High School in 1970. He then graduated from Mississippi State University in 1974 and worked in the poultry industry most of his Life. In the last 30 years, He proudly worked for Tyson Foods and made countless wonderful friendships.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard M. Varner, his mother, Royce Elayne Varner, and his brother, Scott Varner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Peckham Varner; sister, Susan Davis (Richard); sons, Landon Varner (Katie Brooke), Josh Peckham (Casey), Phillip Peckham (Kelli), Terry Peckham (Christy); grandchildren, Viva, Ruby Ryn, Samantha, Olivia, Jade, Lauren, Chase, Haley, Brooks, and many precious nieces and nephews.
If you knew Stan, you liked or loved him. He was kind, loving, generous, and funny. Stan loved his family with all his heart. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Stan loved Life, football, golfing, and spending time with those he loved. He was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church.
Stan loved the Lord and is now rejoicing with family and friends. Because of God’s promise of Life again through Christ, we will be together again one day.
“Go rest in the arms of Jesus, my darling”.. your loving wife
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee, MS, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Services will begin at noon with Brother Jason Webb officiating. Stan’s final resting place will be in Redfield Cemetery in Redfield, Arkansas.
