A beautiful Magee tradition—born from the loving heart of Julia Montz—celebrates its 23rd year of blessing our community with a Thanksgiving meal. What began with Julia’s simple desire to share the joy of a holiday lunch has grown into a full-church effort that still thrives today.
“Everyone at the church jumps in,” Julia shared with a smile. “When someone is asked to help, the answer is always ‘yes.’ That’s what makes this tradition special.”
Christ Fellowship Church will once again open its doors on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025, with free lunches available to the public from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
Lead Pastor Bradley Edwards encourages anyone who needs a plate—or knows someone who does—to call or email the church to register.

Christ Fellowship Church, located at 226 1st Avenue NW (yes, the one with the beautiful steeple!), invites everyone to share in this time of fellowship. Brother Bradley and Julia hope the community will help spread the word so no one is left out of a warm Thanksgiving blessing.
