Simpson County Under Burn Ban

According to Simpson County Emergency Manager, John Kirkpatrick, Simpson County has been placed under a burn ban effective immediately.

The ban should be lifted by October 26th or until more favorable conditions.

The forestry commission and certified burn managers will be exempted.
