As concerned tax payers with children and grandchildren in the public school system, we are bothered that many board members and administrators are putting emphasis on a field house (that we question the necessity of) …but are not filling the high school math position at Magee High School. Are not contracts required to be signed by the end of the school year which means this math position has been vacant for months?

It is a crying shame that these young adults are not being provided an adequate math education that will lead to their development in the coming year.  These classes lay the groundwork for ACT test, college entrance test, and scholarships.
