Applicants can submit scores from the following exams:
M.S. in Kinesiology: Physical Education
• Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
• Praxis II: Physical Education Content Knowledge (5091)
• Praxis II: Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT)
• ACSM/NPAS Physical Activity in Public Health Specialist
• ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist
M.S. in Sport Coaching Education
• Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
• NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
• Praxis II Subject Area Content Knowledge
• ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist
“Many of our students and prospective students have full-time positions that require an intensive certification exam,” said Dr. Nancy Speed, assistant director for student success at the School of Kinesiology. “These exams illustrate their caliber as a prospective graduate student.”
Exam scores are evaluated along with other application materials. To start one of these programs in fall 2017, applications are due by July 1.
