The Simpson County Republican Party announced today that Senator Roger Wicker will be in Simpson County on August 10, 2017. Senator Wicker will be hosted at a private reception and will be the keynote speaker at a banquet planned for later the same evening. Also, Lt. Governor Tate Reeves will be speaking at the banquet. According to Allen Floyd, Chairman of the Party’s Executive Committee, invitations are being extended to other State and local officials to speak at the fundraising event, so other commitments are expected.
