Simpson County Academy’s 2015 Awards Day

Simpson Academy recognized the academic achievements of its students on May 14, 2015 in the high school gym.  The junior high awards began at 8:30, followed by the 10th and 11th grade awards at 9:15, and the Senior recognition at 10.  Each grade’s homeroom teachers presented students with their awards.  Ray Bishop, a veteran with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Foundation, presented students with certificates for their involvement in an essay contest each student was required to do last fall.  Some students also placed at the post or district level in the contest and received checks for their winnings.

Congratulations, Simpson Academy students, for your academic success!
