Sammie Tebo was sworn in as alderman for Ward 3 of the city of Magee during the Board of Aldermen Meeting by Mayor Dale Berry on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Tebo fills the vacancy left by the resignation of former Alderman Lane Steele after being the only candidate to qualify for the election.
Tebo has lived in the same house in Ward 3 for more than 40 years and is married to Candy Tebo. He has been active in business in Magee for many years and has owned several businesses throughout the years.
Tebo is also known as the former “Voice of the Trojans.”
Fire Marshall Charlie Valadie opened his presentation to the board with the words, “Alderman Tebo, welcome to the show.”
