Robert L Yates, 88, of White Oak, passed from this life May 31, 2015 at Woodland Court Retirement Center in Newton.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at White Oak Baptist Church in Magee, Bro. Tim Robertson will officiate.  Burial will be in White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.

Robert was a member of White Oak Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and taught the adult men’s Sunday School Class. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Army

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 01, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Surviving Family Members are: Daughters:  Linda Yates (Richard) Thornton, Palestine, TX, Janet Yates (David) Parker , Huntsville, TX, and Nan Yates (Rickey) Hipp, Morton, MS, Grand Children: Melissa (Mathias) Hansson, Gene (Devon( Thornton,  Jenifer (Matt) Mitchell, Joanna (Michael) McLean, and Rachel Hipp, Great Grand Children: Logan Mitchell, and Morgan McLean.
