Another successful Relay for Life is in the books! Friday night, downtown Magee was rocking to the sounds of fun and laughter…but, the reason for Relay was never far from anyone’s mind.

The Honorees for 2017: Ethan Cooper, Elandis Thompson, Cynthia Bynum, and Anitrus Robinson        RelayHonorees

Relay is all about making others aware of caner and the long reaching effect of this dreaded disease.

Relay is a time to honor those who are fighting the disease as well as in remission….a time to memorialize the ones who lost the battle.

RelayMembers

The overall total raised was $63,792. PrioiryOne Bank was recognized for raising the most money ($16,000.00). Peoples Bank came in second with $7,365.00 and third place went to St John Baptist Church with $2,344. Honorable mention was awarded to Simpson Central with $2,333.00. There was only $10 difference in St John and Simpson Central! Thanks to every team for for their donation.
