The Scriptural passage for today was selected from Hebrews 10:23: “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He Who promised is faithful.” The author of the Book of Hebrews, once attributed to Paul, admonished the early Christians to hold fast to the hope we have in Christ Jesus, because God had promised over and over never to leave His children or forsake them. We today cling to that same hope and assurance which lies in the Covenant we have with God from the moment we put our trust in Him and commit to His care and keeping. “For I know Whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I’ve committed unto Him against that day.” Amen!
