Policeman Ben Stephens updated the Board of Aldermen on a camera system for the City. Following some vandalism in the city, citizens are anxious for cameras to be placed throughout our city.
Mr Stephens explained the system he felt was best was Fusus. Several cities in our state use this system and are very pleased with the results.
The system can support a large number of cameras. An option for local business to be included in the system will be available.
The Fusus platform provides public and private video sharing with data integration platform.The subscription will be for five years.
The Board voted to take the matter under advisement. Mr. Stephens will supply information on the actual cost of cameras in the next week.
