Patricia “Pat” Flynt

January 11, 1941 – March 27, 2023

Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Flynt will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Mount Olive. Mrs. Flynt, age 82, passed away Monday March 27, 2023, at her home near Mt. Olive. Brother Dewitt Bain, Brother Michael Miller, and Brother Steve Clark will officiate, and interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Windham, Channing Bucklew, Alex Bucklew, Jackson Flynt, Andrew Pierce, and Michael Jenkins.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia Ann “Pat” Lee Flynt was born on January 11, 1941, to Clemmie Mahala Walters Lee and Abner Nathaniel Lee. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and Friend. She will be missed greatly, but her legacy will live on through her precious Family Whom she prided as one of her greatest achievements in life.

Mrs. Flynt was an active member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and cherished her Church members. Pat loved cooking, sewing, playing piano, and spending time with her family. Her vivacious laugh, her big smile, and her steadfast love will be greatly missed; however, this is not goodbye, but goodnight; we will be with you again one day in glory!

She was reunited in heaven with her mother and father; her 3 brothers, Ray Lee, Hermon Lee, and her twin brother Pete Lee; 1 sister, Elowese Ishee, and her son-in-law, David Windham.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Robert Howard “Jack” Flynt of Mt. Olive, 3 daughters, Teresa Flynt Windham of Magee, Ginger Kay ( Denny) Bucklew of Louisville, and Robin Hope (Wayne) Ingram of Mount Olive; one son, Benjamin “Ben” (Lane) Flynt of Mount Olive; nine grandchildren; Matthew “Zip” (Meggan) Windham of Daphne, AL, Lauren Windham (Andrew) Pierce of Magee, Channing ( Hannah) Bucklew of Brandon, Alex (Devan) Bucklew of Madison, Ericka Hope Ingram of Madison, Lakelan Flynt (Michael) Jenkins of Collins, Anna Claire Bucklew of Louisville, Grace Ingram of Mount Olive, and Jackson “Jack” Flynt of Mount Olive; 7 great-grandchildren, Harper Pierce, Mary Blake Pierce, John Prince Windham, Asher Windham, Magnolia “Nola” Grace Windham, Mila Elizabeth Bucklew & William “Liam” Flynt; and 2 sisters, Jo (Paul Miller)King of Mize, and Carolyn (Billy) Monk of Collins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Shiloh Baptist Church and Wednesday from 10:00am until service time.
