If you are a “crosser” of the railroad track next to Rankin Body Shop, you have seen an orange cone by the side of the road for a long time.  Our city crew is rectifying the problem.  Railroad Drive is closed near the work site causing people to find alternate routes. (And that can be very frustrating with some people—don’t make changes!)

The old pipe rusted in time leaving a situation the City had to address.

As you can tell from the pictures and video, we needed repairs.

Thanks to our city crew working hard to make our streets safe.

City crew delivering rock.

And thanks to the railroad for allowing us to complete the repair.

The ditch is being prepped with white gravel before the pipe is laid.

(The old pipe did not give completely away before repaired)
