Nevis McAlpin Womack, age 101, a native of Magee, Mississippi, passed into God’s eternal presence on March 19, 2024.
Preceding Mrs. Womack in death were her father, Rev. Z.B. McAlpin, and her mother, Pearl Rankin McAlpin; her husband, Tom Gaddis Womack; sons, Ted Womack and Michael Womack and granddaughter, Kim Womack.
Mrs. Womack is survived by her daughter, Jean Womack Redding, and son, Fred G Womack (Judy); five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jean McAlpin Ratliff.
Mrs. Womack was a member of First Baptist Church of Magee for more than 70 years where she taught Sunday School and sang in the senior choir. She was an avid gardener and dairy farmer along with her husband.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS at 2:00 pm. with an hour of visitation before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.  Dr. Fred Womack and Rev. Buddy Keys will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Sharon Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
