Nancy Merle Bryant, 67, of Magee, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Merit Health Central in Jackson. She was born in Magee, Mississippi, on November 11, 1954, to the parents of the late Willie Mearl Runnels Fairchild and the late James Cornelius Fairchild Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Angela Banks (Steve), of Magee and Kristi Pittman (Melvin), of Monticello; two sons, Stanton Bryant (Angie), of Mendenhall and Dallas Bryant of Magee; grandchildren, AmBrea Davis (Joseph), Raven Ferguson, Wesley Bryant (Carley Clark), Katira Banks (Cannon Evans), Laine Bryant, Rob Banks, Audriana Pittman, Brooklyn Pittman, and Dayton Banks; great-grandchildren, Waylon Bryant and Presley Rowell; siblings, Jimmy Ray Fairchild (Juana), Kate Sauls (Harold), and Cynithia Abercrombie (Thomas); and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Douglas “CD” Bryant, sister, Margaret Ann Fairchild Higgins, and brother, Johnny Fairchild.
Nancy was very independent and loved outings with her family. She was a member of Coat Baptist Church. Some of her favorite ministries were fixing shoeboxes for Operation Shoebox, fixing backpacks of supplies for needy children, and fixing goody baskets for the elderly. Nancy was a retired registered nurse spending most of her career at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall.
Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2022, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Religious service will be Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Roberts and Rev. Melvin Pittman officiating. Interment will be in Coat Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
