Ruby Lee Sullivan Valentine
(October 11, 1932 – January 22, 2022)

Ruby Lee Sullivan Valentine, 89 of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, October 11, 1932, in Smith County, Mississippi.

          A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

          Mrs. Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She loved working on word puzzles, watching TV, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

          She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Valentine; father, Tullos Sullivan; mother, Leone Williams Nobles; brother, Clarence Mitchell Sullivan; and sister, Rachel Canape.

          Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Valentine of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Dwight Valentine of FL, Christopher Valentine of Taylorsville, and Clint Valentine (Christy) of Taylorsville; great grandchildren, Michael Dawson Valentine, Chase Valentine, and Gabe Valentine all of Taylorsville; and a host of other family members and friends.
