Ernest Adcock, 80 of White Oak, MS passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the State Veterans Home in Collins, MS. He was born Tuesday, March 28, 1944 in Smith County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee  302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 09, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Sardis Baptist Church in Morton, Mississippi.

Burial will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Rich Ables and Bro. Anthony Grayson will officiate.

Mr. Ernest was a loving husband for 60 years to the love of his life, Margaret. He loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart.  He served his nation with honor and valor during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Daniel;  father, William Warren  Adcock;  mother, Elizabeth Easterling Adcock;  brothers, Leonard Adcock, Lennis Adcock, Lamar Adcock, LD Adcock, Kemis Adcock and Norman Adcock;  sister, Ina Jean Adcock Thornton.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret E Cherry Adcock of Magee, MS;  son, Kenneth Adcock (Amanda);  daughter, Lisa Sherman (Kevin);  grandchildren, Samantha Echard, Dustin Howell (Chloe), Jared Daniel (Alyssa), Brittany Bullard (Kendric), James Thornton, III (Savannah), Zachary Adcock (Alexis) and Makala Garner (Grant);  brothers, Prentis Adcock (Rhonda), John  Paul Adcock (Jean), Bartley Adcock (Martha);  17 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Blake Purvis, Conner Adcock, Cody Bruce, Frank Adcock, Casey Middleton, and Sean Middleton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kendric Bullard and Grant Garner.
Special music will be performed by Bruce Gable and Stacey Fields.
