Magee High School has developed a girls power lifting team.

The team is under the direction of Head Coach Stuart Shaw. Members of the team are Laniyah Whittington, Lachansity Hayes, Keyara durr, Madison Norwood Alyssa Payne, Laleonica Womack, Hamyia Warren, Jazmine Milloy, and Jasheara Milton.

The ladies competed in their first ever meet at St. Patrick High School.

Laniyah lifted  225 lbs and placed 1st in her division.

Lachasnity lifted 330 lbs and place 1st in her division.

Keyara lifted 445 lbs total and placed 1st in her division.

Madison lifted 330 lbs total and placed 2nd in her division.

Aylssa lifted 445 lbs total and placed 3rd in her division.

Lale lifted 360 lbs total and placed 4rd in her division.

Jamyia lifted 450 lbs pounds total and placed 2nd in her division.

Jasheara lifted 450 lbs total and placed 1st in her division.
