Merry Christmas my dear friends!  I cannot believe we are just about to celebrate the big day.  What a year this has been!  I’ve seen some dark days…a bunch of happy days…and some scary days.  I look forward to 2021 with much anticipation of a healthier year!

My youngest grand daughter, Harleigh

My plans for Christmas were to visit my son Breck and his family in Montgomery, AL.  I had everything worked out to leave early Wednesday morning.  I got THE call last night!  THE call said “the girls and I have COVID!”  (So much for an Alabama trip).  Everyone is disappointed and sad.

Larkin and Harleigh…my granddaughters!

I learned several years ago if you can’t change something…just accept the situation and go forth in a positive manner.  Yes, I will be away from my family for Christmas—first time ever I think.  But, I am blessed with special friends who will take me in and allow me to be apart of their Christmas.
