Three area players have landed another opportunity to display their talents as part of Team Mississippi.
Brennon McNair (Magee High School), Keshun Collier (Mendenhall High School) and Caleb Garner (Simpson Academy) will participate in the 4th Annual 2019 Southeastern Underclassman Shootout (SUS) June 24-27at Troy University located in Troy, Alabama.
Brennon is the son of Fountain and Sonya McNair of Magee.
20 players were selected from the 144 players that participated at the State Games All Star held at Meridian Community College during the week of June 10-14. These 20 players will represent Team Mississippi.
Team Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana and Kentucky will compete and see who ends up with the Gold Cup
Banquet will be held Monday at 6:15, followed by Homerun derby. Games will start on Tuesday and finish up Thursday.
The SUS is a first class, competitive event with lots of college coaches and professional scouts in attendance.
