He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Billy G. May; paternal grandparents, Rayford Lofton (Monell); great-grandparents, John May (Beulah) and Rice Ainsworth (Maggie).
John is survived by his parents, sister, Allyson Hollier and her husband Greg; nephews, Cain and Dylan Hollier; grandmother, Mary May; Uncle, James R. May and his cousin, Bill; aunt, Carol Ann Rushing and her husband Ronnie; great aunt, Rose Ainsworth and many other relatives.
John was a ray of sunshine to all who knew him. He loved life, music, sports (Saints and Tigers of course) and above all, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee with interment following.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
