At approximately 1:11 p.m., the Magee Police Department conducted a traffic stop on 5th Street SE near Co-Op Extension Road for failure to use a turn signal. The driver, identified as Joshua McCullum, did not have a valid driver’s license or proof of insurance.
During the course of the stop, the officer observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a felony amount of what is believed to be methamphetamine.
McCullum was transported to the Magee Police Department where he was charged with (Felony) Possession of Controlled Substance,Failure to Use a Turn Signal, No Driver’s License and No Insurance
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
Whether you’re a seller or a buyer, being in possession of this poison in the City of Magee will cost you. We will not tolerate the presence of dangerous drugs in our community.
Chief Denis J. Borges
