Mary Jean Allgyre Hollingsworth, 85, of Mize, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Magee General Hospital. She was born Wednesday, July 8, 1936.

  A private family visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

 A private family graveside service will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

 She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved spending time with her family. She loved being a witness to other people.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hollingsworth; parents, Edward and Martha Allgyre; three brothers and three sisters.

 Survivors include her sons, Eddie D. Hollingsworth of Mize, Bennie W. Hollingsworth of Mize, Jeff Hollingsworth (Patty) of Magee, and  Anthony L. Hollingsworth of Mize; grandchildren, Amber Canoy (Jacob) of Magee, Landon Hollingsworth (Megan) of Mize, Todd Hollingsworth (Kerri) of Mize; great-grandchildren, Easton Hollingsworth of Mize; Lucy Canoy of Magee, Dawson Hollingsworth of Mize, Lathan Hollingsworth of Mize; sister, Sarah Perkins (Junior) of Ohio; and host of nieces and nephews.

 Pallbearers will be Eddie Hollingsworth, Bennie Hollingsworth, Anthony Hollingsworth, Jeffery Hollingsworth, Landon Hollingsworth, and Todd Hollingsworth

 Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Canoy.
